Skilliga is a free directory and calendar of events for translators and interpreters looking for professional development opportunities. We do not organise training; we signpost what is available. Access to the listings on Skilliga is free of charge. The listings come directly from course and event organisers themselves or have been added by volunteers using details gathered from external websites. While we strive for accuracy, please always verify dates, prices and specific requirements on the organiser's own website before booking. If you notice any issues or errors, please let us know (email us at contact@skilliga.com). If you have any specific questions regarding the training offered, please contact the organisers directly.

You can find tips from trainers and linguists' insights on the Skilliga blog, where volunteer contributors share their knowledge and expertise, including regular Buzzword of the Week reports. If you're interested in joining us, email us at contact@skilliga.com.

We are all volunteers; we are not paid for curating, editing, writing, or IT development. Tom volunteers his time to manage the technical side. Monika Kokoszycka manages the content and pays for all the technology behind the platform.

Privacy

We respect your privacy, just as we hope other people and organisations respect ours when we browse the internet. You can use Skilliga freely without giving any personal details such as name, address or email. You can browse the listings without registering, signing up, or logging in.

We only use essential cookies to keep you logged in and ensure the site functions correctly.

You only need an account if you wish to create, save or share listings (for this, we only need your email address and a username). We will never disclose your details- let alone sell them - to any third party. Of course, we will delete your account and all associated data if you ask us to (just email contact@skilliga.com).
